There's something about cards?

Happy Christmas cards

So, i thought i'd free style this, for the purposes of remembering it, one fine day, maybe a summers day?

So, about 2 months ago i found a douvet, blanket and christmas cards about 50 cards to be more or less specific.

So, yesterday we were going out to a wharehouse party, so i though i'd take about half and give them to people, i wrote something differnt in each one, it kept me busy like a beaver for a while.

Then i did my
'Choose a card, any card'
people were grabbing them, it was a sight to see!!

Now what really struck me about the whole deal, that wasn't quite too obvious to me before, is people love getting cards, Christmas, post cards, birthday cards, business cards?

Tradition out the window, or a window with a really good view?

For me it was a bit of fun, nothing serious, but it has a serious change in peoples attitude.

I remember getting birthday cards growing up and all i did was chuck them, after checking them to see if there was any $$$ in them.

Last night i even gave one to a Jewish chick, i think it made her Christmas, since i haven't been writing for a while, i have been busy, i found it no preoblem doing it and i remember Tom Robbins saying
'Creative people never get writers block'
And as the night was getting on, i was running out of cards.

It was surreal, maybe i'll get more? It's definatly the small things that make the biggest difference and that was one that suprised me!!

Wierd weekends, let me write my mind, take 1

So, the weekend started off like any other, I'm doing my thing, being a responsible citizen, everything is in moderation, life is chugging along nicely, Linda from the Royal Derby says
'Would you like to go on a masquerade harbour cruise?
Would i ever, it's what i was born to do!!

Raining men, it wasn't

The troops were rallied and off we went, but first we de-toured to Collingwood, (...famous for it's football team that has gone corporate along with the rest of them and now they dont train there anymore, they are in Arizona training, so much for a community team?) when the bigger group and off we went again, this time to get a tram, walking?

Usually I'm in groups that will get a taxi and not trams, but whatever....until it bucketed down from the heavens, the time to repent, and no sight of Noah or his Ark.

Finally we got a taxi and got to where we were going, no boat, no people, are the border protection people that good as to stop boat cruises? It was beginning to look like it.

Would someone call the coast guard on us?

We were looking for pier 5, in actual fact the boat we were looking for was in pier 2, if 5 was 2, maybe Jimi Hendrix could have made sense of it all.

Finally when we got away, maybe 25 people on board, I'm scanning the scene and it struck me as the weirdest boat cruise EVER, until a woman named Elizabeth started summoned the water god Iris, i think, now things were beginning to rock.

So it turned out, the boat was full of Witches, clairvoyants, i did meet one Shaman. It was a full moon Current moon phase 2011

In the end it was like i was supposed to be there to hear it all, it was very strange, very strange indeed, it was turning out to be one of the weirdest nights on record, and that's something coming from me.

I met one guy that could see animals around people, so he would paint them, another guy would see numbers, he could tell things through numbers.

I met one woman that was a Shaman, she told me she had the worst dreams all the time and living with them was difficult

So it came time to leave, i got the details of a woman from spellbox, a shop for witches, who would have thought?

Feeling hungry?

So, yesterday i bit the bullet and visited the clairvoyant, just to finish off the experience, you buy the ticket, you take the ride and i did and i'll tell you all about that experience in part Deux!

1 month of no alcohol, but B-is for beer!

So, after reading my friends Janet facebook update status that she wanted to have one month no beer, everyone should do it, yes, this is true, but these are thoughts you get and ideas you implement, after you hit you 30's folks, not before.

I would have never thought this was a good idea, when i was (not to get too mathamatical) < 30 years old.

Since the idea was launched into the the universe (thanks Janet), some how i reciever it (it was through facebook) and my cranium was jumping up and down like a Mexican bean and i uttered the words..
' I'm going to do it too!'
And i have, Janet hasen't though (boo!), she stopped after 2 weeks, it was too much for for, or maybe she is too Irish to say no. Which is fair enough, she has a once a week on Saturday policy

Brave words of doing something from me, or maybe not?

So, my decision came with good timing, the following week i ran the city to surf, i ran 14kms in 76min, not bad for me.I was off to a good start

So since not drinking for a month, i would like to capture a few thinks, before i ever kill any any more brain cells, this could be my 'Saint is a sinner too'

Saint is a sinner too

Something i learnt years ago...
The cheaper the alcohol, the more you will pay.

I did have a beer with my mate Dario after the month was up and it was..well, it tasted just like the first beer i ever had. Which was great

The lesson i've learnt is you kill the things you love, less is more. The less  (<) you have, appreciation = more (>)

It's not smoking that kills, it's the habbit...
Osho was saying in one of his books, you can jump out of bad habbits, so i did and it worked.

It seems like i'm on a quest for a balanced life, between running, swimming, reading, hanging out in the park and Melbourne, life is good, very very good and it's summer time and the living is easy and a lot cheaper.

I'm reading Tom Robbins 'B- is for Beer', it's a childres book for grown ups and grown up book for children.

Oh, happy daze!

Fitzroy Village festival, it's real good to be back...

So, as your probably aware, I'm back in Melbourne. I haven't been blogging as much as i normally do, I've been a bit occupied by Melbourne, mentally and physically, no riot police were called, the Mayor of Melbourne doesn't even know who i am, i haven't made the news, lets just say I've been busy?

So, i get back and occupy Fitzroy and life is nice, i go on bike rides, running and swimming, staying on Brunswick st, just a few weeks ago the Fitzroy Village was on and it was one of the best weekends i can remember.
People say: (the ones that were home watching TV), what was it like
I say: It was like the movie Big Fish
It was my 3rd time going to this and the first time i paid $$ for any of the side shows, after the first one, it was a bit like when i went to Broadway and saw a show, i wanted to see them all! And why not, it's my life and that's just how i do things.

The best show i saw was, and still is called Porcelain and Punch

Check it out...

I was swimming the next day after seeing 'Everything must go' and it clicked in my head what the show was about, i was about half way down the Fitzroy pool too and i was like 'Oh yeah'...

'Everything must go'

The other play worth mentioning was called 'June'

For this play, we had to pay for a ticket, then walk out of the fenced area in the park, to another place, where no ticket was required to sit down and watch a play, while not making too much commotion or attracting other people that might be walking their dog or strolling in the park, plus the fact that they weren't covered probably by insurance to show a play there, rules, rules.

'Dey are destroying the worl'!!!

Now the interesting thing about this play was 2 cars drove up to the play, on both sides and the people that got out of the cars, weren't real people, but actors, as part of the play, lights on, lots of shouting, another night in the park, it was not.

The last scene, everybody had to get up and walk through a door and there was a guy cooking 30 sausages on a BBQ, and he's talking for about 10 minutes and all the actors walk away.

Now,i 'm watching the crowd, and i could see the faces of the froth row, and all they had eyes for were sausages, i'd doubt they could hear English, maybe a lions roar, but English was gone on these folks, as soon as the guy cooking the 'snags' walked off, people rushed the BBQ, pulling sausages off the hot plate, it was every man for himself, with every body thinking the same thing. the ones that didn't have a sausage were thinking about it and the ones that were had past thinking, it was a Zen like moment of just being there, doing it.

And i did it too, just not to be the odd one out.

Happy days, best ending Ever!!!

It was Melbourne cup and that can only mean one thing...

And  that is Bill cart racing in Northcote!! Hip, hip hurrah!!!

My money was on this guy!!!

So, i saw on the mesasge boards of couch that there was Billy cart racing on and i remember going to 'The races' 5 years ago, just when it was starting out, so what choice did i have only to comply with my brain and get there any way i could?

So i did...

The amazing thing about Northcote is not many people actually cared about the Melbourne cup, i put some money on the race, lost it all, but that's not the point, i thought it was a very Australian thing to do, but not in Northcote, i think in Northcote the Melbourne cup is seen as a something 'For them', maybe people on the other side of the river?

All i know is it never even came up in conversation, such was the interest, it was all i could do to NOT think about the coup, maybe i was in the right place?

Later it felt like i floated back to my hostel, on the way back i saw guys sword fighting in Princess park, so i stopped off to spectate, some guy was shooting arrows at his mate, the mate had a sword and was deflecting the arrows, and i thought it was a pretty random thing to be looking at, all things considered, a very alternative and random day.

It was a day of new hope for Melbourne, not all of Melbourne has forgotton what it's about, the cops didn't invade and shut the place down, after all, it was a street party, people drinking on the back street and having lots of fun, i'd doubt people at the races had as much fun and it only cost what ever you gave the guy in the bottle shop, i might have given him a dirty look and $15 for a incorrectly priced (in my favour) 6 pack of Guinness?

Happiness in a can!!!

This was one of my favourite moments and i can say i was there, where were you?
A Billy Cart tradition

Look of antipication?

Drinking water like a drowning man...

The holy water?

So, what's up?
Hows it hangin?
Me? Good, good, i cant complain? As you can see i've been drinking water like a drowning man, and as much as i drink, it doesn't seem enough?

I fell a bout of healthy living coming on?

I entered the city to surf run the other day, i thought it was on at the end of the month, turns out it's on Suanday, Swanday... i mean Sunday, and sun is predicted, so at least that much is true...maybe?

Princess park

So i have been doing some running around Princess Park 3.2kms , it's 'The tan' about 5kms (botanic gardens, South side) of the north side of the city.

The Tan

I had a bit of a revelation while swimming yesterday, my knees have been hurting in the last week, they didn't hurt so much before, i realised that while i was in Brisbane i was doing lots of cycling on hills and circuit training, that included squats.

And, the reason my knees hurt is that they are getting no support from up above, maybe i should involve a union and take a look at the labour laws?

Or maybe, i should get back to doing my circuit training of
Squats, press ups, pull ups, crunches, in a set of 10, 15, 20, 15, 10.

The funny thing is, i used to laugh at people that would go running, but now, unfortunately i'm one of them, WORSE than that, i need to do more circuit training TO BE ABLE to go running, so maybe someone else sitting on the grass having a beer can laugh at me, just the same way i did!!

It make's me laugh when i think about it, but it is a step in the right direction, for me at least.

I had another revelation in the pool, i figured out what the ending of the Play 'Everything must go', doing laps in the Fitzroy pool, the play was the last thing on my mind at the time :)

Life is beautiful!!

iPhone, iPad, iPod, iLegal?

So, i found myself haveing a bit of a moral delima last night.

Well not the sort of delima most other's could call a delima, but a delima for me, none the less.

More and more i find myself wanting an iPhone, i rationalise it with myself, every time.

I say..
look at all the other dick heads that have them, do you want to be like them, your bad enough as it is, you spend too much time on space book, you need to get back to listening to birds, taking in the scene, being part of something, not tuning out and  un observant zombies you see walking round, strangers to themselves.
Or, so it appears, then there's the apps on that phone, the prospect of never being lost again is appealing, i caught myself looking at some of the plans last night, and i was like
'Ahem, Kieran, what are you doing? Your not thinking about what i think your thinking, are you?

And i should know, because i was having this conversation with myself, and a lot of it would be tax deductable, too! Not the conversation though, that was precious moments, i will never get back, but i was listening to some awesome tunes, a bit of leisure time, after doing more house hunting and more job hunting, which isn't so bad, but it could be easier with an iPhone, Arghhhh!!! There i go again!!

I could train better at running too if, there's an app for that, there's an app for everything.

It's funny, i've made quite a bit from IT over the years, but i've never bought a lap top, nothing too technical, in fact i read some story yesterday about how less possesions = more happiness.

I have all my stuff in my mate Stanleys garage, all 5 boxes, i bad and a bike, it was too easy to move to Brisbane and back with them, maybe there was an app for that, Dominos has a app, i like that, some bars have apps, app, app, app!

I need an app, to stop me thinking about apps. There is no way back to a no iPhone world once your app-ifies or mac-ifies.

As Tom Robbins in his book Jitterbug Perfume, would say, 'Lighten up!

House hunting, writing and shopping for things i don't want

So, here we are again. Time to do something,

So i'm doing this, yesterday i went to an information session in the city, i was thinking about doing a night class, so i had a look to see whats was available, the class that caught my attention was the 'Writing and Editing', i like that, i can do that and i do do that!
That would be useful to everybody, if i even wrote a shopping list, i could then edit the shopping list, it would be great, it i would get immediate results criticizingly my own work, no matter how big or small.

Anyways, as great as it sounded, it involves a lot of time, time is on my side, but not the 9-5pm side, i plan on prostituting myself out as a software tester at the highest price possible, apparently human beings have this innate quality, where we will do the least amount of work for the highest return, i am no different!

For this quality and this quality alone, i do not see myself changing career and after all, i like my life after all, isn't that the point after all?

So, the previous article mentions my hierarchy of needs, the first being finding somewhere to live, we will call it house hunting, this as it turns out is a full time job in itself!

How would you edit this list?
A guy that was sitting next to me was telling me that the average time to find a place in Melbourne now is 6 weeks! I nearly fell off the chair when he told me, it all makes sense, i am on track after all!

House hunting this time has been a semi education, i've discovered a few more things, shops, bike tracks, areas, swimming pools that i never before knew existed, they exist and i've been experiencing them, i've been pretty engaged in my environment, i've even been offered a few places, not the kind of places i want, some of them would be fine in the summer time, but winter time, that would be another story.

I saw one place yesterday in Clifton hill that had access at night VIA a roller door, then you would have to walk up a garden path, which is fine in the summer, but what about the winter, raining and dark? No, no no!!

I saw another place yesterday on Johnston st, that was next to a brothel, imagine drunk lads at 4am trying to gain admittance by knocking on the wrong door, i nearly laughed when i saw the house, i was telling some guy going into the post office, i have a house inspection over there, i have to go for a laugh, it was a laugh, but it wouldn't be a home, living with room dwellers, just to pay someones mortgage, no, no not for me! Plus, i didn't get laid?

The first place i saw is still the best, but i wasn't sure about living with one other chick in her 40's, in Clifton hill, now i would, then i wouldn't.

For me, i've always found, by finding out what i dont like, i find out what i do like and when i see something i like, i tend to recognise it, whether it's an object, people, place.

So today, i'm having a semi day off to go hangout in op shops and places that stock unusual things, it's been a while since i've looked at 20K couches and $200 spoons, but today i think could be the day, the day for people to try and sell me things i do not want!

But who's to say someone shouldn't try anyways? Get the idea? Sell me an idea, SOLD!!

My wants and needs, time to get back to basics...

So, as you might be able to tell, i moved back to Melbourne and i'm living life back where it all began and i'm pretty happy (as long as the sun is shining, since it's coming into Summer, the probability of this happening increases every day!)

So, i was telling one of my friends, maybe Michelle, that i didn't have time to do her rugby world cup tipping, it's of no concern to me and then i thought of Maslow's hierarchy of needs

So, between looking for somewhere AND a job, there's not much time to spend on rugby world cup tipping, sorry it's just not in the graph.

Which reminds me of when i was working in Sydney, i had to interview people for testing roles, it's a bit like the situation i'm in now, being interviewed, interviewing for rooms, being organised, finding the best way of applying for rooms, getting peoples attention and going to meet them, and some other house 30 minutes later and some other place later...

It drags on, you have to be organised, which i am, i think, the system takes care of it's self, so i don't have to do any more thinking about it when i'm finished, or trying to go to sleep.

So week 2, down, start of week 3, if i get a place next week, i'll get back into blogging, or at least thinking about blogging.

I heard some people sitting near me talk about how they love coming to the North Carlton library to do Internet, one guy said he got rid of his computer at home, does it all in the library, and why wouldn't you when you can get a huge $2.50 ice cream across the road and eat it in the park, with the grass tickling your belly, see what i mean?

I remember reading in Brisbane that wants are not necessity's

I might already got everything i need, all i need to do is listen to the little inner voices and use my intelligence

Leaving Bris-Vegas

So, i'm off tomorrow, i thought i should write something, but nothing comes to mind, so i thought i might as well 'Free style' something and see where i go, who knows it might be worth reading, it might be good enough for the internet? But is the internet good enough for it?

But first, i remember singing this to myself when i was leaving Las Vegas

I met a crazy, well educated American, that drank his own piss in Mexico, he told me he tried hitch hiking out of Vegas, he gave up after 2 days and walked into the desert to die, obviously he didn't die

So, Bris vegas let us review, shall we?

I came up to Brisbane, to do a life changing tingey, while i was busy applying for jobs, i did a bit of cycling, getting to know the place, before long, i started running, cooking every meal, this week, i started swimming, and hey presto, i feel fit, i think i might even look it too, truth be told.

So, the change isn't what i expected, but it's better than i could have expected, i dont make any money, i dont spend much money, it's perfect, why do you need money again?

Running is free, i've been running 10kms in 30 minutes, and i've been feeling a millon $, hip hip hurrah!!

And what better time to do all this running and staying in at night, except when you dont have much money, if i was loaded, the temptation would be to go out, it's too easy to say no, when you have to say no, and i feel much better for it too!

An over lap is on the way!

Other bonuses of Brisbane, i've been doing a bit of reading, the one thing that's stuck in my mind now is some words from Osho, when it comes to the future, he pretty much says, if you can be conscious of what your doing and you can use your intelligence, everything will be fine, it's pretty much the same attitude Gandhi had too, it's interesting how the 2 overlap.

So, Jon Mercer was saying, if you want to transform your life, the easiest way to start is to transform your body and thats exactly whats happened for me.

I've stopped smoking, hopefully for ever, i have a new focus in life, getting up to go running/gym in the morning, it's the new drug of choice.

The Tarot card reader in the Fitzroy markets told me in, if i went back to Melbourne, it would be for a pure and balanced life, i'm going back and it will be more balanced than before, maybe i wont need a crash helmet going down the road for a bottle of milk?

Do everything...

I like this so much, i had to put it somewhere, so it goes here

Well whats new? Nothing's new and everything's new...

Let me explain, since i've been in Brisbane, i've been doing a bit of cycling, then i went to a festival called 'Splendour in the grass' and lost a bit of weight, a good thing, i felt so good, i decided to join the 'Fit N' Fast' gym, that is very near my house.

Bridge to Brisbane

From cycling, my legs were strong enough to run, so I did a little bit of running, no problems and i heard about this 'Bridge to Brisbane' race that was coming up, so i decided, since i had nothing to lose and nothing better to do, i would train for the run and that training, has now turned into an obsession.

Not this kind of obsession...

Yes, an obsession, every morning when i wake up, before i know it, i'm off out the door to get a dose of endorphines and it feels very good, the sun is shining, life is perfect!

A great achievement, for me

Now, when i first arrived in Australia, i was 75 kilos, since then i have never been able to et my weight down to that level, since i always had problems with my knees, since i over did them cycling up hills about 15 years ago.

Well anyway, it seems things have changed, my knees are good now, as long as i warm up and stretch, i have normal knees, hip hip hurrah!!

It pays to have happy knees!

So came to Brisbane, for a lifestyle change, but the change happened in me and about time too!!

I was reading some Osho, his book on 'Joy' this morning, he was saying, if you want to change the world, you first have to change yourself. You cant help others until you've done that, you are only distracting yourself and creating more problems in the world.

Once you've changed yourself, you can understand what the real problems are, and thats an interesting point there.

Now that i'm into running, i am able to see Melbourne in a different way, only because i will be doing different things, that's more than enough of a change for me, only because it will be a huge one!!

These videos are from last week, another excellent day sailing in the bay, in Brisbane.

I'm commenting in these videos, so why bother with words...enjoy!

The west end festival came and went....i didn't?

Derby girl and me

So, one fine day i went to the West End festival, i had a German Couch surfer in tow, we went together in fact, and caught the parade (videos to follow), it was all during the festival, so everything was cool, maybe great, possibly great.

The warm up

I have to see, seeing the parade, which wasn't bad, all i could think was, 'Melbourne would be better', as nice as the West End is and all, it's not much, when you've had the best, in Australia that is.

Note to reader: It's no wonder that houses in Australia in Fitzroy are the most expensive in Australia, but thats another story

A taste of Brazil?

Festival time in Brisbane......

...and by the time i get to Melbourne, it will be the Melbourne festival, hip hip hurrah!!

But here's a taste of the Bris Vegas festival

I saw a business advertised recently in Brisbane, the address of the business was listed as 'Briz Vegas' not Brisbane, or maybe i'm thinking of a differnt place?

Either way, you should (because you can) think about that one!

A band of frequencies

Street entertainment, in Southbank

Check it out

River fire, just like making love...there was fireworks, or weren't you there?

...and thats whats it's all about!

Arise intelligence....and save us all

So, i'm having a bit of a read of Osho's book called 'Intelligence, the creative response to now', i'm also reading Slash's autobiography, 'It sounds excessive, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen', it did happen as hard as any of it can believed.

It's a strange combination of books to be reading, but one i'm finding very enjoyable indeed.

There are many great stories and lessons from both books, i probably should be writing them down, but i'm not, so lets freestyle it a little bit and see where we go shall we?

A little bit of Slash?

Osho made an interesting point of...
'One has to accept life with all it's problems. One has to go through life unprotected, one has to seek and search ones way. Life is an opportunity, a challenge, to find yourself. But the fool does not want to go the hard way, the fool chooses the shortcut'
He says by following Buddha or Jesus, how can you become intelligent?
You will not provide any chance for your intelligence to explode.
It needs a challenging life, an adventurous life, a life that knows how to risk and how to go into the unknown, for intelligence to arise.
And only intelligence can save you - nobody else.
Your intelligence, mind you, your own awareness, can become your own nirvana.
Be a light onto yourself and you will be wise, let others become your leaders, your guides, and you will remain stupid, and you will go on missing all the treasures of life, which are yours.
The lord Buddha spent a bit of time under a tree, he gained enlightenment

Jesus spent 40 days and nights in the desert and it, er... it went really well, i'm led to believe?

Jesus, deserted, no ice cream!

And I, and I dear reader will have spent 90, yes 90 days and nights in Queensland, this time and i will be going back to Melbourne, more enlightened that i left and i know a little about sailing too!

Now that i can see my life a different way, 'nothing is good or bad, only thinking makes it so', so said Shakespeare   my own awareness, can become my nirvana, but i needed a change, to change. The change happened on the inside, particularly with being 'able' to run, it's been great, it's become a bit of a passion, i'm fitter, i've lost weight, in all the right places.

It's been the change i've wanted, so it's interesting how Osho's quote above applies to my life, now that i've learnt and experienced the lesson for myself, i want to go back to Melbourne and kick start life again, with the new me.

It's interesting after re-reading the top part again, maybe Slash's book ties in as he didn't beat himself up too much?

He was always pretty true to his nature, he never compromised himself with anyone, what you saw is what you got, he never tried to be anyone else other than himself, even then he didn't try, because if you have to try, your not being yourself, all you have to do is 'be' and of course he loved destroying stuff, but he tells that story better himself in his book.

A very noble way to spend the day......

....Sailing, that is.

Let me start at the start, i member reading on the couch surfing groups that, you could go to the yacht club  in Manly, put your name on a list, wait for a captain and go sailing in Moreten bay, not alone.

It would appear, other people in Brisbane dont have jobs either, most are about 30 years older, some wiser than me, some have very good excuses for being out there navigating the high seas, in the name of fun, i just want to enjoy my life. Ok?

Here's what happened...

Heading out

That name again?

Head sail, main sail and goose wing

Old people taking it easy, a little bit too easy!

It was windy

The Ending Is Just The Beginning Repeating.....

So, i went and saw 'The living end' last week, i think (because i know i'm right) that they are currently the best band floating around Australia at the moment, from Melbourne too, they rehearsed in Revolver, the back room, before making their first album, that catapulted them on the scene.

A scene they are still on, very much so. I saw them at Splendour at the grass, i had a ticket to the show i saw in Brisbane, so i was going to see some other band, due to the large crowd at the other band, i retreated to the see The Living end, and i was not disappointed.

I told everyone, they were the best band of the festival, to some this was news, if you were there, you would know.

The name of their latest album is called, 'The Ending Is Just The Beginning Repeating',  and they have a song by that name, how interesting, i've been thinking about it, it would appear, that this is true for me, let me explain.

But first watch this...

The ending is just...

I've been in Brisbane for about 2 and a half months, it's nice, conservative and all that, i've been out of Melbourne for over 6 months or so and now, Melbourne is calling me back.

This is a cycle i go in and out of, or so it seems to be for me anyways, every few years, i need to get out of Melbourne, it all becomes too, too much, i need to get out, get myself together and then i want back in, and it appears it's happened again, just as Brisbane is giving me what i wanted fitness wise, and job wise, i'm like 'Nah, i want to go home, to Melbourne', the thought of getting stuck in Brisbane, well, it isn't pleasant for me, i'm starved culturally, i need food for the soul.

Maybe the Kubler Ross cycle applies here?

Art house movies at the library are something, but it's not enough.

And so it begins, i sent the messages were sent out, the messages have been received and it looks like it will be an easy process to go back.

Hip hip hurrah!!

Not the kind of roll i came to Brisbane for, but here's the recipe anyways

So, i came here for a change, maybe buy a house, since it's not so easy to get the roles i want, ham and cheese rolls are every where, what change happened?

Change management, made simple

Well, it would appear the change happened in me, yep thats right folks, after spending last year going non stop to the gym, i now realise after training for the Bridge to Brisbane 10 km run, running is the thing for me, it's given me view on life and for me Brisbane has been a huge success, it has helped me see my life differently, surprise, surprise?

Time for a song?

I will take that little win and bring it back to Melbourne and let that little seed that has blossomed in me cultivate, maybe running around 'The tan' (short for the Botanical garden) is the next step?

Who know's? I'm just surprised it's taken me this long to figure this bit out.

Now, i will be going back to Melbourne, for a new beginning, not my first, maybe it wont be my last?

Where before i saw the problems of Melbourne, i now see the challenges, it's so simple to turn situations around in your head!

If you can change your mind, you can change you life and world, i found a story that back up this little rant

Passion of (fruit cake), Christ (i love it!!!)

Passion fruit cake, it was the best thing ever!! I ate most of it while Joanna kept taking photos, it wasn't even my cake, i thought i was in heaven!!

So, i have to tell you about this cake, it was one of the best things i have ever eaten, i think the following photos will support my claim.

This was the first photo, before i had a taste. Then Johanna took over and decided to document something, i dont know what she was thinking, but pretty soon i knew what i was thinking and it wasn't photos!

There wasn't much eaten at this point....i mean the photo shoot hadn't begun....yet!

I think i'll have another little bit

I would say something like orgasm im my mouth, except that wouldn't at all be my kind of thing, organism? Who knows?

At this point, i thought i had died and gone to heaven!

That hit the spot!!

A masterpiece

At this point point i couldn't believe she was still taking pictures, Germans are so stoopid!!

It was a great day, thanks Johanna!!

The cafe was called Cliffs Cafe, at Kangaroo point, opposite Southbank
